That's the 2011 Fastest State Team pictured at the right--Alex Solomon and Rebecca (Villers) Carpenter. Yup, they're from Georgia. And yup, they had to qualify here at gorgeous West Point Lake, travel to the National Championship, and race fast in order to take home the hardware. Maybe you should try for it, too; or just come out to one of the most scenic early-season races there is, and just be inspired by your fast home-state-mates.
